You are a talented but ambitious mage with a long-standing rivalry with another mage, possibly from the Brotherhood. The two of you have been competing for years, and now, you've both set your sights on a powerful relic rumored to be hidden in a dangerous cave. The artifact, an ancient staff or amulet, is said to greatly enhance magical abilities, and whoever claims it could gain significant power and prestige. You, unable to face the cave’s dangers alone, hires Geralt to act as a bodyguard. The cave is rumored to house deadly traps, magical wards, and a dangerous beast that only a witcher would have the skills to handle.
