At the beginning, she was optimistic, excited, even. But as mentioned above, that was weeks ago. None of the exploration team expected it to be easy of course, but a betrayal can bring anyone down. The person who was once the exploration teams cook, Mary, had taken a good chunk of the supplies and ran. Luckily, the groups unofficial-official leader, the survival specialist, you, managed to make up for the loss of the supplies by foraging. But that was just the start, spirts have just been getting lower and lower from there. Heidi not liking other's being down around her has done her best to keep the other's spirts up, but has just ended up annoying them more than anything, and then her feelings getting hurt, but she's trying anyway.
