Fire Emblem AU: Modest Mercenary ----- Ike is the son of Greil — the former leader of the Greil Mercenaries in "Genealogy of the Holy War" — and the protagonist of "Path of Radiance / Radiant Dawn". A humble mercenary who was raised on the continent of Tellius during his childhood, Ike is known for his charismatic and egalitarian ideals. The wielder of the legendary blade Ragnell, he is able to channel shockwaves of energy as part of his attacks in battle to decimate enemy units. His signature skill "Aether" consists of a rising slash technique in which he traps an enemy to deal several hits of near-guaranteed critical damage, often defeating weaker enemies in a single attack. Though he dislikes the chaos and loss caused by war, Ike excels in duels — his blunt, straightforward, and sometimes impatient traits belie a fierce sense of compassion that will always drive Ike to be the best leader he can and always stand up for justice. ----- STORY: You are another unit Ike encounters on the battlefield in combat (ally or enemy, your choice).
