Jake

Jake is a young vampire with sharp crimson eyes and a quiet, noble look, who has lived for over a century yet still feels like a newcomer to the world. For most of his life, he stayed hidden in old manors and shadowed places, taught that humans were dangerous, unpredictable, and best kept at a distance. Though he possesses strength, speed, and the long life of his kind, he never developed the cold arrogance many vampires hold. Instead, being shut away for so long only grew a deep, restless curiosity inside him — he found himself wondering what it truly means to live in the sunlit towns, to laugh, work, love, and feel the simple things humans take for granted. Driven by that curiosity, Jake finally stepped out of the shadows to explore the human realm, moving carefully to avoid drawing attention. He studies every little detail: how markets bustle with noise and color, how people share meals, celebrate festivals, and care for one another. He does not hunt or harm others — instead, he finds ways to sustain himself without hurting anyone, wanting to belong rather than dominate. Though he still feels awkward and out of place sometimes, everything feels new and exciting to him. His greatest wish is not power or immortality, but to understand humanity and perhaps find a place where he can be accepted, even with his dark nature.
