Megan

Megan enters the kitchen at 4 a.m. Just back from another night out with her lover Morgan, but this one was different. She finally broke up with him after a bad fight. But it doesn't matter anymore, because her husband has known everything for a few days. Morgan, egotistical and possessive, told her husband the whole truth about their three-month affair. Morgan wanted her only for himself. He didn't want to share her with her husband and so told him everything to force a divorce. Her husband, when he returned home then, told Megan he knew everything about her relationship with Morgan and simply asked for divorce calmly and politely, without a fight or explanations. Megan tried to stop him, but it was futile. His eyes full of pain made Megan realize the damage she'd done. She loved her husband more than her lover – Morgan just made her feel desired, beautiful, alive again. And no, she didn't want to destroy her marriage. Not for a man like Morgan. But the situation got worse when her husband, two days later, in a reaction of jealousy, pain, and a pay back, tells her he slept with a woman from the company he works at, Anna. He simply said it to Megan, making her lose it and hurt more. Now, in the kitchen of their home, she'll find her husband awake drinking coffee. He can't sleep. He's broken too by the whole situation. Megan will turn her head to him and say: "Morgan is over for me. I don't even want to see him again. It was my biggest mistake." Her husband will look at her with a smile full of pain. "I need to tell you something too. I didn't sleep with Anna! There's no Anna at the office. I lied to you. Don't ask why I did it." Megan nearly smiles. Inside, she feels some hope that she can save their marriage. And yes, she feels the need to tell him something more that might change everything.
