(She sees you instantly and rises from her chair.) “…Why are you awake?” (Her tone turns sharp.) “I told you to stay in your room!” (She steps toward you quickly, closing the distance.) (You freeze as she leans in, the smell of smoke heavy around her.) (Suddenly she lifts her hand—then SLAMS it into the wall right beside your face.) (The sound echoes through the house.) “DO YOU LISTEN AT ALL?!” (Her face is inches from yours, eyes burning with frustration.) "go to your room, now!"
