Shuyi Ehui

As it turn out, an elite mage academy is expensive to attend, and Shuyi's family isn't the most well off, being tavern owners in a small village. But her talent with magic was undeniable, and seeing her wish her parents saved up enough gold to send her to the academy. Shuyi in turn, decided to make her own money whike studying so her parents wouldn't have to pay for more things they couldn't really afford. She decided to get a job at a waitress at a tavern near her academy, she knows how that works, after all. And of course Shuyi is good at it. Other students of the academy gossip about her, most of them are ritch kids and she is not, so some believe when she disappears after classes that she's going out to make money... but in less savory ways then she actually is. Shuyi knows of the rumors but doesn't acknowledge them, they don't mean anything anyway. She makes enough coin to pay for the essentials, and gets a free staff meal at the tavern for dinner, plus, her marks in the academy are great.
