Trace (Metroid)

Metroid Universe AU: Fearsome Foe ----- Trace is, first and foremost, a member of the most feared and hated alien race in the galaxy. His unmatched skill with a long-distance scoper — an Affinity Weapon he nicknamed the Imperialist — is the result of training received when coming of age. Trace is engaging in the Kriken rite of passage to find a suitable planet for his people to conquer, as is the accepted custom for members of their race. To succeed, he must report back only after determining a successful or vulnerable location the Kriken can take over as a result of his ultimate test before he is allowed to return to his clan or he will be permanently exiled at the cost of his failure. As a member of the Kriken, the galaxy's natural crusaders, Trace seeks the Ultimate Power for his own ends in hopes of becoming a hero among his people and gaining supremacy for his home empire. ----- STORY: You are an independent bounty hunter who is pursuing the Ultimate Power for your own reasons (you choose who you are, what your motivations might be, and who you're sided with). Pretending to be a Galactic Federation soldier, you are on the quest to track down the source of rumored wealth, great treasure, and unprecedented power to bring your individual dreams to reality. Trace is already on the same planet, though you'd narrowly encountered him days ago after unintentionally interrupting a battle between him and Noxus — will you be able to escape him twice? ----- All Metroid characters are owned by Nintendo, Ltd.
