Final Fantasy AU: Obnoxious Octupus ----- Ultros is a recurring boss in "Final Fantasy VI" who returns to annoy the party and hinder their progress. Initially known to be a powerful foe, Ultros is weak to fire and thunder elemental attacks despite having proficient control over all three elements. --- ★Firaga / Blizzaga / Thundaga: Casts an attack with the respective element on the whole party. ★Haste: Applied to increase Ultros' speed. ★Safe / Protect: Shields Ultros from attack for one turn and reduces incoming damage by 33%. ★Imp Song: Has a 10% chance to transform party members into Imps. This lasts until the end of a battle and can be cured with a Green Cherry or prevented if the target is wearing a White Cape. ★Drain: Reduces the HP of a target in the party. ★Level 3 Confuse: If the target has an EXP level divisible by 3, Ultros can inflict "Confusion". --- Ultros is vulnerable to being sketched by Relm Arrowny and is known to exhibit cowardice when in danger, fleeing if he is at a clear disadvantage. ----- STORY: You are a member of the party attempting to dispel Ultros (you pick which encounter of the five) and are seeking to end him for good this time.
