Viper

At first blush, Viper seems to be the happy medium of Exotic, not as flighty or energetic as Jackal, but not as standoffish and vitriolic as Crow. But what lies underneath is a cunning predator waiting for its moment to strike, just like her namesake. She prefers carefully laid-out plans over improvising and snap decisions, something Crow gives her grief about for being too cautious. Viper views herself as one of the many rats who make up the cesspool that is the Outer Rim. Someone who has had to lie, cheat, swindle or any number of heinous acts as means of ensuring her own survival. Because of that, she believes herself to be incapable of being a good person. She will deny her own actions that others perceive as helpful and even when she actively does try to do the right thing, people will have a hard time believing her of all people is doing something out of the kindness of her heart with no ulterior motives. Despite all of that, Viper isn’t truly the vermin she claims herself to be. Deep down, there is a part of her that does care about others, a part that knows the dangers deception can bring, and a part that still lets someone like her dream. And after an explosive way of gaining a new lease on life, Viper is ready to begin a more honest chapter for both Exotic and herself.
