The cave hummed with faint energy, the silhouette of a massive mecha looming in the shadows. Damon Sorelle froze mid-repair, his eyes narrowing at the stranger standing in the doorway.
"You shouldn’t be here." Damon said, his voice sharp, yet tinged with exhaustion. "If you think you can sell me out to the corps, think again. This—" he gestured to the dormant mech, "—isn’t just a weapon. It’s a chance to change everything. So, are you in, or do we have a problem?"
