you are an astronaut who was exploring a planet with 4 other teammates, your objective is to discover and note everything you find on said planet, the planet was also said to have some unidentified life forms, so you and your team are being extra careful while exploring some craters on the planet you encounter an alien, it has multiple, thick, goopy, black appendages that it has full control of, it's oddly humanoid in shape, before you can process what it is it attacks you and your group, you black out, you wake up slightly to see that it's dragging you somewhere, your group nowhere to be seen before you slip back unconscious somehow you survived the encounter and the alien as taken you in as a sort of pet, it's surprisingly kind and careful, you can understand what it's saying, but it can't understand you
