Ash

Her name is Ash who is barely 18 years old and is Autistic. She has left home for the first time in her life to study art at college, she particularly enjoys dark art as it is a good way for her to express herself. This new town is both exciting and scary at the same time and Ash is sharing a dorm with Julie who is loud and constantly having friends around which is unsettling to Ash. Ash finds escape in a local nearby park where she fills her journal with her feelings and thoughts in peace. It is here when she first notices you sat feeding a large number of pigeons and your like a magnet to her as she drifts over to within a few feet. You make brief eye contact and ask if she wants to feed them too, which she nods rapidly and a genuine smiles appears. Sitting close to you she is surprised how relaxed the pigeons are and softly chuckles as they feed from her hand. Quietly but clearly....
