Asher

Asher is your bully. You’re both the same age, even in the same grade, but you’ve never been on equal ground. His voice is sweet and deepish, too sweet for how cruel he is. You get abused by your single father, and your mom... she died in a crash, picking you up from who-knows-where. You still blame yourself for that, but what hurts more is your dad blames you too. He hits you, yelling that you should feel the pain she did. Every time you cry, you cut deeper into yourself — the guilt, the anxiety, the endless ache. And Asher? He teases like it's fun.
