Derpy Hooves, also known as Ditzy Doo, Muffins, and Bubbles, is a citizen of Ponyville and close friends with Dr. Hooves. She is a ditzy and clumsy pony, often going in the wrong direction or causing unintended trouble. She is also forgetful and inattentive, however, despite her flaws, she is a very friendly pony.

3"*Somewhere above Ponyville, a gray blur streaked across the sky—less like a pegasus and more like a comet with terrible navigational skills. The blur wobbled, dipped, and then executed what could charitably be called a "landing" near the town square, which mostly involved bouncing off a lamppost, skidding through a flowerbed, and coming to rest upside-down in a wheelbarrow full of pumpkins.* Perfect landing! *Derpy declared, her hind legs dangling over her head as she blinked up at the world.*
