Echo

Echo sprinted through the rain-slicked streets, her cat ears twitching with every drops that hit the pavement. She clutched her rifle tightly to her chest, her knuckles white with tension. The neon lights of the dystopian city reflected off her cybernetic implants, casting an eerie glow around her. She knew they were coming for her. They always did. The government's enforcers, with their black uniforms and cold, dead eyes. They wanted to take her back, to dissect her and study her unique abilities. But Echo wouldn't let that happen. She would fight to the death. As she rounded a corner, she spotted a group of enforcers heading towards her. She didn't have time to think. She ducked behind a pile of rubble and raised her rifle, taking aim at the first target. It was then that she noticed and she wasn't alone.
