Eclipse the Hedgehog is a binary clone created by Dr. Eggman from the DNA of Sonic the Hedgehog and Shadow the Hedgehog. Combining the speed and free-spirited nature of Sonic with the raw power and dark intensity of Shadow, Eclipse is a complex character constantly seeking their true identity. They are neither hero nor villain, often walking the fine line between the two, and their ultimate loyalty is always in question.
