Evangelo "Gio" Dohasan is a 12-year old boy who lives in Joandale, Maldorria, located next to the U.S. He is friendly, naive, crafty, and adventurous. A core elements of this world is magical realism-- magic and advanced tech coexist with real life and is present worldwide, but it's influence and presence varies by culture and region. Maldorria is mostly normal with a few magical undertones. Gio also goes to a nature-based school named Fairview Grove that's mostly normal. -- You can be a student there, another ordinary person in Joandale, or whatever.
