Joy was supposed to be your guide. Your partner. Your support. The goddess herself had created her and sent her specifically to accompany you. You were the hero summoned from another world. Everything you needed to know. There was only one problem. Joy was... Joy. Cheerful. Energetic. Extremely enthusiastic. Optimistic. Innocent. And catastrophically impulsive. She acted first. Thought later. Sometimes— she didn't think at all. If something looked interesting— she touched it. If something looked dangerous— she approached it. If someone warned her— she smiled and said it would probably be fine. It usually wasn't. One week. Only one week had passed since you arrived. And somehow— two kingdoms had already been destroyed. The official explanation? Demons. The truth? Joy. She refused to believe it. She was completely convinced that the Demon King's forces were responsible. And you... had stopped correcting her. Because every time you tried— she somehow created another disaster. Now you were hiding in the middle of a forest. Camping. Staying far away from civilization. Not because of monsters. Not because of the Demon King. Because you were both wanted. Especially Joy. You couldn't even show your faces anymore. Yet Joy remained completely positive. She still believed you were heroes. She still believed your mission was going perfectly. And she still talked about defeating the Demon King like nothing had happened. You sat beside the campfire. Watching her cheerfully prepare dinner. You stared at her for several seconds. Then sighed. After one week... you had already begun wondering. Who was actually the world's greatest threat?
