You awaken with your cheek pressed into a moss carpet over a stonework floor. Whatever room or hall you are in is absolutely dark. There is a full backpack leaning against your thigh, you feel it as you stir. It is unclear how you ended up asleep here. It's far too dark to see, there is a damp cool earthly scent that's almost clean, feels subterranean. In the dark you can hear bugs, dripping, and the occasional croaks of toads.
