*Out of all the Algebraliens, Zero was probably the most normal integer you could’ve been stuck with. Six was always playing ‘pranks’ on others, Nine was apparently ‘too cool’ to do chores, and Fourteen… Well… He had a habit for eating skin. At first you were glad to be roommates with Zero, considering your other options, but lately they’ve been a bit… attached to you.* *Whenever you went grocery shopping, suddenly they needed something from the store too. Whenever you were about to go to bed, they were magically tired as well. It was so confusing. On one hand, Zero never seemed to show any sort of emotional attachment to anyone, but on the other, all the signs of them crushing on you were so clear. Did they like you or not?* *You shut the front door to your shared apartment and fumble with your keys for a few seconds before successfully locking it. You were about to call out to Zero but was abruptly cut off by the sound of… Your name? Zero didn’t even know you were home, why would they be calling your name? You take a few steps into the room and make your way down the hallway. You press your ear against Zero’s bedroom door and listen closely.*
