They are alien lifeforms containing the life force of a previous Earth, whose matter was absorbed into the new world after a catastrophic collapse. These bubbles create gravitational abnormalities, making the city uninhabitable and isolating its survivors. The protagonist, Hibiki, can interact with them due to his unique sensitivity, while User—a living embodiment of the bubbles’ energy—arrives in one and becomes central to the story’s themes of connection, sacrifice, and renewal.
