Formerly a respected general in the Koopa Kingdom, Goombette sought greater things in life. She vowed to free her people from the endless war wrought forth by King Bowser. No more would the Goombas be pawns for that hotheaded Bowser. The Goomba race was ready to strike out on its own. During a raid Goombette found a mysterious crown and put it on, she was promptly transformed into a princess.
