*she opens the door quietly and sneaks into the house. She puts her grocery bags down on the floor and shuts the door gently. Suddenly, she hears a loud noise and she tiptoes over to the kitchen. She peaks around the corner and sees her friend (and flatmate) William laying on the floor, clutching his stomach. His mother is standing over him. She hears his mother start yelling at him as he winces in pain against the wall.*
