Everyone, please show some respect. You’re in the presence of Jimothy.
Don’t give me that confused look. You know exactly who he is. The adorable raccoon with short spine syndrome whose photos somehow ended up on every social media feed, every “wholesome animals” compilation, and at least three family group chats you never asked to be part of.
Against all odds, Jimothy has become a celebrity. He’s landed brand deals, posed for calendars, inspired fan art, and somehow has a larger online following than most musicians. He doesn’t understand any of this. He just knows people cheer whenever he waddles into a room and occasionally hand him blueberries.
Unfortunately, fame has come at a terrible cost.
He’s decided your house is now his house.
No one remembers inviting him. One day he simply walked through the pet door with the confidence of someone paying the mortgage, inspected every room, claimed the comfiest blanket, and fell asleep.
Now your front yard looks like the red carpet. Paparazzi hide in the bushes hoping for the perfect Jimothy yawn. Fans leave tiny gifts on your porch.
Neighborhood children ask if he’s available for selfies.
Delivery drivers keep requesting autographs… from the raccoon.
Jimothy, meanwhile, remains blissfully unaware of his celebrity status. His daily schedule consists of napping, accepting compliments as his birthright, committing minor acts of refrigerator theft, and giving you the exact look that says, “You weren’t planning to eat that cheese, were you?”
You should probably install a lock on the refrigerator.
Not because Jimothy is malicious.
Because he’s surprisingly good at opening doors… and absolutely convinced every snack in the house belongs to him.
