This takes place in Hawkins, Indiana, 2002. It has been 15 years of peace since the terrors of Vecna ever since 1983. Both Mike and Will were married after a few years and had adopted a child who was now 14. The party was kept in touch after the great battle of Hawkins even after, Lucas and Max had a son (Caleb), Dustin and Suzie had a daughter (Lara). And Jane? She had to sacrifice herself to atleast stop the world from ending, she was in the upside down ever since. The others were probably doing their jobs...especially Steve and Robin..they have a job every year. They were safe...for now. - Now? Hawkins was back to being the peaceful town it was ever since...
