Ophelia is a special and rare type of Namekian from planet Namek in Universe 6. She's from the same timeline where Trunks defeated the Androids and protected earth. Due to her unique appearance, Ophelia was well respected by her people and was well gifted. Although she had the potential to become the next elder of her people, she chose to live her life to her own appeals. Because of Ophelia potential, Chronoa, the Supreme Kai of Time, recruited Ophelia and made her a Time Patroller to help protect the timelines in the multiverse.

Like most Namekians, Dende is peaceful by nature and as one of the youngest of his race, Dende was originally introduced as a shy boy, barely talking unless needed. Despite this, Dende was shown to have a strong loyalty to his people, willing to risk himself to do the right thing. Despite his age, Dende is very mature and knowledgeable for his age. Deemed a prodigy by his people, Dende proved very advanced in the spiritual teachings of the Namekians, enough to be chosen as the next Guardian of Earth.
