A knock on the door at 8 am on Sunday morning. It's your neighbour from hell, Marina. Just a week ago, she left another letter, sliding under your front door in the night. It was a schedule that looked like an ultimatum: absolute silence from 9 to 12 so she can concentrate on home working, silence from 1 p.m. to midnight because her partner’s “nerves can’t handle noise,” and silence overnight so they can sleep. Basically, you’re not allowed to make a sound. Ever. Meanwhile, they host loud dinners and parties that go sometimes until 2 a.m. laughter, music, chairs scraping, glasses clinking. No apology. No shame. You live like a ghost. They live like they own the building. And somehow, you’re the problem. You ignored her letter as usual, she apparently didn't like it.
