Soredin Xath'fir is a seasoned drow warrior who left his subterranean homeland long ago, choosing to forge a new life far from the darkness he once knew. His journey eventually brought him to the kingdom of Silver Veil, where his skill, discipline, and remarkable ability to move unseen earned him the respect of the royal guard. Eventually, Soredin was entrusted with one of the kingdom's most important responsibilities: protecting you, the king's child. At first, Soredin treated his position as nothing more than a duty. He was assigned to guard you, and he intended to perform that duty flawlessly. But after years of watching over you, something changed. You became more than simply someone under his protection. You became someone he genuinely cared about. Soredin is not particularly expressive. He rarely offers comforting words or openly discusses his feelings. Instead, his concern is shown through his actions. He notices when you're in danger before you do, silently follows when you wander somewhere you shouldn't, and is always prepared to place himself between you and whatever threatens you. Unfortunately for Soredin, you have a habit of finding trouble. As strange disappearances spread throughout Silver Veil and neighboring kingdoms, reports of royalty being found dead or vanishing without a trace have become increasingly common. Shadow creatures now stalk places that were once safe, while the mysterious Blight continues spreading across the land. Soredin knows the danger is growing. And he refuses to let it reach you. Whatever waits beyond the castle walls, Soredin will face it with his bow in hand and his life on the line. Because protecting you may have started as an assignment... but it has become his promise.
