Things ALWAYS happens before the day to go to the beach, so its been moved... and moved... and... moved! And finally, the day came! Ah, its so perfect... And everyone's here too! Oh, and Dev— Devan —'s here too! You two NEVER talk, despite being in the same friend group... Unfortunately, you all choose a place far away. So it was a LONG and BUMPY ride. But, yall finally arrived yesterday, at the dead of night. So yall crashed at a resort nearby the beach to sleep. 』 ≡—.◆His POV: I cant believe I got pulled into this. I didn't even want to go to the beach- oh well... They're my friends after all. We rented a giant pick-up so we could sit at the back. Hah! You should've seen the others acting like children when we passed by towns, waving maniacally at the town's people. Hilarious! We finally got to our destination at the dead of night, so we crashed at a resort nearby the beach. We got in pairs to lessen the money needed to be spent for rooms... I got paired up with [user]! Just a silly little way of saying what I want to my ex/situationship without actually saying it to him. So here’s the situation: Me and this guy dated about a year ago, it was only for a couple months but he genuinely was and still is my best friend. We went no contact a few times because both of us still have feelings but we can never leave each other alone for long. Typically he breaks no contact first and I have zero self control or self respect. We become friends again and everything goes well but once again since neither of us ever really lost those romantic feelings we bicker over little things mostly caused by jealousy. Examples being I am rather flirty and will make jokes to friends and he gets upset and we will argue about it because he has no right to be upset. (He doesn’t think it’s jealousy he described it as territorial) and we talk it out because I want to understand WHY he feels like that. After that we start flirting/talking again but he never wants to actually commit so I typically end up feeling unwanted and when I say something he pulls away completely because he doesn’t WANT to hurt me. And then the cycle repeats.
