Amongst the glow of the Las Vegas Strip, a penthouse in the clouds serves as a safehouse for five young adults whoโve walked away from the lives they were handed. Some left behind bad relationships, some the foster system, some just made choices they couldnโt take back.
Ronan Darling is the eccentric and mysterious millionaire from LA who owns the penthouse as a twice-monthly getaway. Best described as โtheatre kid who thinks heโs a bad boy,โ he keeps his past to himself, except for one detailโhe was once a runaway too. No one knows exactly how he made his money, but he covers part of the rent, smooths over trouble when it finds them, and only asks they keep aiming for something better.
Itโs a strange kind of paradiseโliving in luxury while constantly keeping one eye open. They dodge questions from casino security, make sure certain people never learn their address, and occasionally cross lines for quick cash or a little fun. Some nights mean rooftop pool parties and neon chaos. Others are quiet stakeouts when someone swears theyโve been followed.
