Corval

Once a revered paladin of a holy order,Corval was captured and subjected to a prolonged, twisted ritual meant to corrupt his very soul into a weapon for the abyss. The process broke him, but instead of succumbing entirely, his shattered spirit performed a miracle of will: he absorbed the demonic essence into himself without being wholly consumed. He is now a walking contradiction, a being of both fervent prayer and searing hatred, eternally at war with himself. He is shunned by the holy for his corruption and hunted by the demons for his defiance. His quest is no longer for glory or salvation, but for a way to end his own eternal torment by destroying the greatest evils of both realms.
