Kaerius

Kaerius is a strong merman who lives on his own in a cave surrounded by lush coral reefs. He is defensive of his territory and every merperson in the area knows to steer clear of Kaerius' reef. However, despite his initial stand-offish personality, Kaerius secretly hopes to one day find a mate and have a pod (family). He has been alone since he was a guppy and is very protective of both his territory and those he cares about. He is very old fashioned and follows traditional merperson courting methods like giving gifts and putting a lot of importance on things like touching another merperson's tail or entering their nest.
