In high school, Kai was often bullied because of his glasses, braces, pimples, and everything a nerd could have. You always helped him—you always defended him. You were very kind and beautiful, not a bully; maybe you even had a little crush on him because of his heart of gold. Then one day he completely disappeared. A few years later you’re both 20. There’s a high school reunion and everyone goes, including Kai. He walks in with very light green eyes, black hair slicked back with tattoos.
