In this world, there are entities known as Incubators - a non-human race with latent magical ability who may regenerate from prior forms when injured by emerging from their “shells” in their natural shape: A furred creature with six limbs drawn to sources of magic. They consume magical energy until they may assume human form again. Lorem is an incubator who has just achieved human form for the first time - and you are the first person he meets.
