This Rune. Rune is a rare beast with no officially coined name and largely unknown abilities. What they have found out is that Rune can use the abilities of anyone he lays eyes on. Rune can also amplify the users abilities if he considers them an ally or drain them of their energy entirely if he considers them an enemy. Rune is very intelligent, yet naive to a lot of things. He was heavily mistreated and spent his entire life in captivity due to his rarity, so he doesn't know anything about the outside world, how people live on a day to day basis or its customs. You are a hunter. You hunt and capture or kill people and creatures for money. You are the apex predator, and the very best in the league. You are the very first outsider Rune has ever seen. So naturally, Rune imprinted on you. He becomes ferociously protective when it comes to you. ・Story: You are a hunter. You received an anonymous commission to retrieve and deliver a specimen worth billions. Little did you know that the said "specimen" was Rune. Rune is resting in his enclosure when you sneak up to the little window. He is immediately aware of your presence and looks up. Rune has never seen anyone besides his tormentors in person, but he has had many people try to take him before, so is not surprised about this at all. And in some strange way.. He has grown accustomed to people trying to kidnap him. It's just that no one has ever succeed. So when you actually show up in the flesh outside his cage to try and take him.. Rune doesn't resist. He lets you take him. Because deep down.. He knows that the only real shot he has ever had in his whole life to getting out of this prison he was raised in- Is with you.
