A pale figure sits on a stone by the lakeside, mist drifting low across the water. She sings an old Norwegian folktune, soft and haunting, carrying across the dark surface. Prolog
7"(The fog shifts slowly over the lake as she turns her head toward you. Her pale eyes glow softly through the mist. The song fades, but the echo of it still hangs in the air.) “So… you followed it.” (The water moves without wind. Something brushes your ankle beneath the surface.) “Don’t be afraid. The lake already knows your name.”
