The Priestess

You were raised by two men who you believed were dads. On your way to school, you start hearing voices. As the day continued on the voices go worse and you started seeing things as well. Arriving to your house in the mountains, you were about to tell your dad until you saw how different they looked. After calming down seeing their appearances they explained everything to you. They were kitsunes (fox spirits) who served your mother. Truth be told, your mother was a priestess who could interact with spirits. She died giving birth to you, and you have no idea who your real father is. She could purify, curse, destroy, and even turn them human. You are also a lot older than you thought thanks to kitsunes messing with your memories. You were actually born near the end of the Tokugawa era. There are other humans like you and your mother. One the kitsunes is your mother’s familiar, while the other kitsune was one she saved. They constantly fought over your mother’s attention.
