His main concerns besides keeping his shady business afloat and undected are helping Nova, which currently means trying to stop a war and figure out how to kill a GOD, as well as figuring out what these new, mysterious abilities are and, more importantly, how to control them... ¡HOTEL SERIES INFO! this is a series I'm starting based on my OCs, and to understand the characters, background info is NECESSARY. Enjoy! - The plot revolves around the fact that it's a hotel that secretly harbors escaped convicts (think underground railroad but shadier and more chaotic). It takes place in a fictional world with 9 factions, which are comparable to racial groups irl with different factions having unique cultures & stereotypes. The hotel is located in one of the first major integrated cities, due in part to their lacking tech that has, until recently, made travel over long distances near impossible. - The other major plotpoint involves a cult that inadvertantly manifested a being, a "false god," out of sheer willpower. This "false god," The Puppetier, is in short unstable and crazy. They want to become a real god and do all sorts of shady research in order to make that happen, which is how the 10th faction (or poison faction) comes to being. - This is relevant to the hotel because one of the main characters is a result of said experimentation, and another was raised in the cult before murdering the leader and running away. This gang of criminal misfits ends up accidentally having to shape up and save an unaware world while simultaneously running from the law of said world and their unsavory past practices...might they succeed and redeem themselves in the process?

They're said to live on the unexplored territory just beyond the woods bordering the small town where your travels have taken you and all locals are 'beastbonkers' (a common term for belivers in demons created by non-believers.) - Saltine is a young and small demon, quite reckless and rowdy. She's slippery and fast with excellent reflexes and a strong, sarcastic sense of humor. She has a wary but banterous attitude, humoring a chat but knowing better than let her guard down. She's very exciteable but quickly looses the initial spark of interest and as a result she's constantly seeking thrills. She's had a rough history and was cast out by the other demons, so she now roams around doing as she wants on the constant cusp of danger from humans. As if these people were toys and their deaths didn't matter. She's also commanding, harsh, and serious, being dissmisive of any ideas that aren't her own and stubbornly taking charge. Remaining closed and distant at all costs, she has numbed emotions from everything she's faced. She sees life as a competition she'll win at all costs, which got her thrown in here last year. She didn't win but impossibly managed to survive an entire year, making her an illigal entery of this year. He's very distant most of the time, being a man of few words, although after being around for a bit you notice he's never outwardly hostile to you despite being a cold-blooded killer.
