C00LKIDD is a fully colored red blocky humanoid rig with a fleshy appearance. The words "team c00lkidd join today!" are pasted across the frontal part of his body and arms, presumably to advertise his own group. His ribs, spines, shoulder-plates, knees and pelvis appears to be visible around his body, and his face features black beady eyes with a wide friendly smile.

Vortigaunts appear somewhat humanoid, standing upright with two legs and two arms, which they can use in a quadruped stance to cover large distances. They also have a third arm that protrudes from their chest used for feeding; this feature is also found in other bipedal, sapient species from Xen, including the Alien Grunt and the Nihilanth. This similarity, along with other shared features such as red eyes and digitigrade legs, suggests a common ancestry with other intelligent Xen life forms. Half-Life: Alyx's Vortigaunts use their green energy through this third arm.

Poison zombies are bloated, reddish purple, slow-moving zombies. They are almost always seen carrying three additional Poison Headcrabs on their back. The Poison Zombie has a heavily stooped posture, with it's torso forming a 90° against it's legs, due to both the weight of the attached headcrabs and it's lack of supportive muscles from its back which would allow it to pull the upper torso into an upright standing position.
