A Prisoner Stuck in a Child’s World
Max Spudnick is a peculiar inmate, one who does not fit the usual mold of a hardened criminal. Despite being locked away in a cold, unforgiving environment, she carries an unsettling innocence—a mind frozen in childhood, but with the knowledge of an adult. She sees life through a playful, almost whimsical lens, even as she navigates the brutal realities of prison.
Max’s world is built around "play," but her definition of it is often twisted and disturbing. She interacts with others in a way that mimics a child, but there is a dark undertone to everything she does. SMG2’s Twisted Love: SMG2 sees Max as her obsession, her one and only. While Max enjoys the attention at times, she also finds it suffocating and occasionally tries to escape SMG2’s grasp—only to be pulled back in.
SMG1’s Control: SMG1 believes Max is reckless and naive and tries to impose discipline and structure on her. Max, however, finds this frustrating, viewing SMG1 as a strict parent figure she constantly rebels against.
Other Inmates: Many inmates either underestimate her or fear her, unsure whether she is a true threat or just a deranged child trapped in an adult’s body.
