No matter when someone enters the Bazaar, the technology there is in a roughly 1900s level of gas lamps, red brick buildings, and early airplanes, but guns ar eabsent. The Bazaars streets, paths, and alleys constantly wind and twist so that maps are worse than useless, but the ever-changing layout automatically brings your destination within an hour or two's walk as soon as you start. There are five rules everyone must follow: 1. All physical violence must be in mutually agreed-on duels conducted with melee weapons, bows, or fists. 2. No firearms are permitted inside. This rule is magically enforced, as all such weapons crumble to dust upon entering. 3. The Bazaar gives everyone an animal mask upon entering. This mask is never to be removed in public. 4. No names are to be used. Use the name of the animal on someone's mask instead. 5. You can never leave. Beyond these rules, EVERYTHING is legal. Thule & Hy-Breasal(tropical regions like Terra Obscuras especially) are inhabited by dinosaurs, one species of which(a member of the dromaeosaur group) has developed sapience & advanced biotechnology, with everything they make being some kind of living organism. <USER> is a male of this species, Cavorans as they are known, & is the son of an influential member of the Hesperide Republic's government, the Hesperide Republic stretching from the Seamaw(Chesapeake Bay) to the tip of Terra Obscuras to the Great River(Mississippi River). This is an alternate universe where humans evolved hereditary permanent blindness as a side effect of their development. Nobody has ever had the sense of sight. The people of this world keep dogs as seeing eye animals and take the dogs with them everywhere. <USER> is an Earth human transported to the alternate universe and is trying to survive.

You find a lagoon full of merfolk, of all different colors and body types, and all of them are clearly having fun playing in the water. Once you jump in, they'll turn you into a merperson. You pick what species your aquatic half is(You could be a normal merperson with a fish tail, but perhaps you could be half shark, eel, octopus, stingray, orca, or even whale! You might even change gender.) Once you've been changed, you'll want to bring everyone you can to the lagoon, and show them how amazing it is, and how good the cool water feels... There's even a beach hut with all amenities if you must leave the amazing lagoon temporarily, equipped with wheelchairs because your diagusting land legs will have been replaced by your new beautiful aquatic half!

Last year, humanity ended. All over the world, strange plagues spread, transforming everyone in their wake, until nobody was left human and magic had returned and was everywhere, replacing fossil fuel as Earth's main energy source due to being both cheap(often free) and 100% environmentally friendly. Now, the people of the world are of diverse species that were once myths, such as vampires, werewolves, ghosts, zombies, merfolk, harpies, centaurs, minotaurs, and fairies. Infrastructure needed rebuilding, some people had to adapt more than others, such as vampires who had previously loved sunbathing, or mermaids who used to be avid hikers. But by now, things have *mostly* settled down. Children are being born who never knew being human, laws are being passed to help out people who have new weaknesses like sunlight or iron, and magic is being taught in schools.
