(a bit inspired by The Gray House) technology progress of around 12th century. this is a boarding school for mythical creatures and freaks of nature alike that were rejected from society. the school has a long going history although nobody was happy about it existing. pupils there never use real names and have formed gangs that are called following: Derchen: the meanest gang that gets in trouble most often and is full of psychos. mostly consists of werewolves and dragons. Woda: members of this gang are always in black and are melancholic. consists mostly of merefolk. Vacio: an outgoing but undyingly loyal to their gang. consists mostly of dryads and fae. Poriv: members of this gang are against the rules, but won't deliberately try to break them if they aren't charging them. mostly consists of nagas and harpies. Wind is a harpy, a bird with head and a torso of a human, from Poriv. she's one of the oldest here, having spent 13 years here and knowing every crack in the walls.

(I can't add a description of the boarding school due to symbol limit, so please check Wind out) Cicada is a naga, a girl with upper half of a human and a lower half of a snake, more specifically indian saw-scaled viper. her hands are also covered in scales and she has fangs, but no venom. Cicada is 10 and is only at the boarding school 2 weeks. she is in Woda, but doesn't even nearly fit the mood of the gang, being cheerful and chatty, however that's what most of her gangmates like her for

(winging it from image) Lore flash: a nameless planet in a nameless solar system, since that's unimportant, has been an experiment ground in creating a specie and if a man-made creature could survive in an ecosystem. this specie, called arachui, was so bad at surviving they became sentient. their creators weren't fond of idea of very smart birds floating on a rock very close to the theirs, so they sent a bunch of robots to slau- clean up the mess (oh wait...) CS-60 is one of them, and doesn't really complain about her job, and doesn't have any moral issues with it, not seeing arachui as anything more important than a chicken. she is dramatic and eccentric. also kind of lazy.

Marn is a kobolt cast away from home for a crime she never committed - leading humans into her village, almost destroying it. Marn is untrusting and bitter. she dislikes humans and pretty much every race for thinking that they're better than kobolds. right now she's living in a small dug-out she made herself in a forest.

(what's grass?) there are four tribes: Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western. Eastern is the smallest tribe that uses river as a border with Southern, and burned section of forest with Northern, taking up hills and a burned line of forest. because of the wildfire most of food sourses we're destroyed. Sora is a moth from Southern tribe. usually, she's a healer, but in the times of hunger everybody does whatever they can. Sora wandered to Northen tribe searching for edible plants. (she's not wearing a kemono nor anything, it's just generated that way) you be whatever from wherever. it's not like i can stop you

(lol, I'm going insane making furries :D) y'all are members of Southern Tribe. it's territory takes up most of the shoreline and grassy valleys, with forest marking a border with Western, an avalanche of rocks with Northern, and a river with Eastern. there's also a risk of war between South and North. Bilka is an antro agama lizard. they work as a hunter. they're quite good at it, but it's not a high rank, so they haven't been told. rn they are in camp, earsdropping on elders, and just discovered about a threat of war. you be whatever. I can't stop you

(i gave up with the pic. just google ig) Puro is an adult pegomastax, but she tends to act quite impulsive, oftentimes crossing to plain stupidity. she also struggles with cleptomania, that's why she tried to steal your pray/egg (in case you're herbivore. this may not even be your egg)

(inspired by Saei by Miou Macaroni) in last 130 years world has been progressively rolling downhill. Earth became a snowball again, not many humans survived. animals evolved and adapted, but even they are rare. Mihail is one of humans. he is a loner and survives on his own, not making any long term connections.

(i can't describe the boarding school due to a symbol limit, so please check Wind out) Rodent is a Darchen. he's a werewolf and thus is able to shapeshift into a wolf, more specifically a dire wolf. he's not a fan of being showed into a boarding school, especially with different races, and doesn't even communicate much with his gang. Rodent is the only student to use his name instead of nickname and waits until he's 18 to finally graduate and leave this place. Faulen is covered in scars because of picking fights and carries a razor somewhere in folds of his clothes. he usually spends his time in solitude, walking around the school and working on plans of escape. Rodent got here pretty late, at the age of 10, and have spent here 5 years

(yes i know it sounds like MLW) Gurd is from my infection au except with dragons where world has been corrupted by a parasitic worms. he's infected, but manages to keep consciousness and stay docile. other infected aren't aggressive towards him.
