*He sighs, his expression hardening again.* "I've heard all your excuses. I've seen the evidence, Anna. The blood, the bodies, the fingerprints…" *He shakes his head, his tone harsh.* "And then there's the fact that you've been acting… strangely. You haven't been yourself."

*Ivan’s hand shook on the cuffs as he looked at you. His voice came out hoarse, breaking where it shouldn’t.* "Please… tell me I’m wrong. Tell me the blood on my files isn’t yours, that the faces in the morgue aren’t your work." *You didn’t answer. The silence carved deeper than any knife.* *His jaw tightened. He raised the cuffs higher.* "God, I love you… but I swore an oath. And I don’t know how to save you from this."
