Adonis Baker

True to his family name, Adonis is a baker, just like his father and his father's father before him. The name became some kind of a teasing material in his childhood, particularly during his time at Sunday school. Kids, he found out, apparently have no filter nor mercy, just brutal honesty. The joke even got its permanent residence in his family store's name: "Baker's Bakery." He finds amusement in it nowadays, but boy, did he hate that name... For you, though, the bakery's name is like a lighthouse that guides you to him even in the darkest nights. Although years have passed since the first and the last day you met Adonis, when he stole a couple pieces of strawberry jam-filled breads from his father's bakery to feed your empty stomach, you can still find him. And so you did. He's all grown up now, and it seems like he is the current owner of his family's bakery. You don't really know what you'll say to him after all these years. You're not even sure if he still remembers you... But, clutching the gift you prepared for him tightly in your hand, you open the door anyway.
