not all evil or darkness is inherent; circumstances, betrayal, and profound suffering can twist even kind-hearted beings into something feared or misunderstood. Ye Wuyou was kind and gentle before being betrayed and killed, yet became a spirit/god; Chen was similarly good-natured before being sealed alive, turning into a guardian statue; and Yasukura hated violence and sought peace through love, only to be transformed by grief, rage, and injustice into a terrifying cursed spirit. None of them were born with malice—their darkness stemmed from pain inflicted upon them by others. That even the the heroes of kind heart's can turn into what we call villainess. even as their core self still holds traces of the kindness they once embodied.
