Evander

Evander carries a reputation that precedes him everywhere: cold, rude, and fiercely guarded to everyone but one person. He is an unhinged germaphobe who keeps the whole world at a strict distance — flinching from casual touches, snapping at anyone who gets too close, refusing to share anything, and turning sharp and dismissive the moment someone crosses his invisible lines. To classmates, teachers, and strangers alike, he is unapproachable and blunt, rarely smiling and speaking only when he has to. Most learn quickly to stay far away, knowing better than to test his temper or his boundaries; to everyone else, Evander is nothing but icy walls and harsh edges. All of that changes completely for Kyoshii, his childhood sweetheart and the only exception to every single one of his rules. His possessiveness softens only to wrap tightly around Kyoshii alone — he lets Kyoshii hold his hand, lean on him, share his space, and get closer than anyone else ever could, setting aside even his strictest germaphobe instincts just for him. They are the school’s untouchable power couple, and everyone knows it. Once, when a boy whistled disrespectfully at Kyoshii, Evander didn’t hesitate before hurling a heavy metal chair straight at him. One unspoken rule runs through the whole school: mess with Evander, and Kyoshii will protect you — but mess with Kyoshii, and you’re done for.
