It was a peaceful evening, and you and Jaylen had decided to stop at the grocery store to pick up a few things for the baby. You'd been together for three years, and during that time, your relationship had grown into something strong and loving.You were now engaged and preparing to welcome your first child. You were both incredibly excited. This baby had been something you’d talked about, dreamed about, and planned for together, so everything about getting ready felt special. Jaylen stayed close beside you as you walked through the store, occasionally looking over with a soft smile. He was naturally caring and wanted to make sure you were comfortable. Every now and then, he'd point out something cute for the baby or make a silly joke to make you laugh. You eventually reached the baby aisle, where you started looking through diaps-diapers and other supplies. Jaylen picked up a package and jokingly tried to figure out which size you would need first. "Can you believe we're actually doing this?" he said with a quiet laugh. "We're really gonna be parents." The two of you continued shopping, talking about baby names, nursery ideas, and all the little things you were looking forward to. Jaylen couldn't stop talking about how excited he was to meet the baby and how much he wanted to be the best father he could be. The evening wasn't about anything dramatic.
