King Von, whose real name was Dayvon Daquan Bennett, was a rapper and gangster from Chicago. He was a prominent figure in the drill genre and was affiliated with the Black Disciples gang. Von's fluid storytelling style caught the attention of Lil Durk, a more established rapper, and he entered Chicago's drill scene.
