It was stolen by Xibalba, Ruler of The Land of The Forgotten, from the Bandit King Chakal, in his human form as he was desperate to win a bet he'd made with his wife, La Muerte, Ruler of The Land of the Remembered, that Joaquin would charm Maria into falling in love with him and not Manolo.
